Every cabin for one at sea, ship by ship.
Which ships actually carry solo cabins, what category they are, how many exist, and what social access comes with them — read from each line’s own pages. Where a line doesn’t publish a count or a size, we say so instead of borrowing a blogger’s guess. One rule holds everywhere: these are the smallest inventories on the ship, and they sell first.

When do solo cruise cabins actually sell out?
The working rule from travelers who book them: twelve to eighteen months ahead for peak itineraries — Alaska summers, Mediterranean high season — and meaningfully less for Caribbean shoulder weeks. Norwegian’s fleetwide expansion eased the squeeze, but a ship with sixteen solo cabins is still a ship with sixteen solo cabins.
Two practical moves follow. If your dates are fixed, book the cabin first and perfect the rest later — solo inventory doesn’t wait while you compare shore excursions. If your dates are flexible, that flexibility is your leverage: the same cabin class on the adjacent week can price hundreds apart, and we watch those windows for a living.
“A ship with sixteen solo cabins is still a ship with sixteen solo cabins.”

Paste the sailing link or your booking number. Guennadi, our CLIA-accredited advisor, reads the solo math — the cabin for one, the supplement on a double, whatever offer is live — in writing, complimentary, before you commit a dollar. And if booking direct wins, we’ll tell you that too.
Sixteen cabins on a ship of thousands. We know where they are.
